No More Blogging For Me

Okay, so I have decided that Blogging sucks.  So now, if you want to know anything about our family, you have to go to facebook and find me.  So there.

I am a slacker

Okay, so I am a slacker.  I know, I know.  I spend most of my time these days on Facebook, so if you're not there, go hook it up.  Much easier to keep in touch.  Anyway, here are a couple of new pics of the kids.  Hope everyone is doing good!!

Jonny's Too Skinny

This outfit that Jonny is wearing is a 24 month old size, and he is so dang tiny that the pants just fall off of him all day.  He's pretty funny though, instead of pulling them up and having them fall down again, he just walks around all night with his pants down around his ankles.  It's pretty funny.

I Love Willie

Well, ever since we met, Erin has told me that it was her dream to see Willie Nelson in concert, and we have been foiled twice, he had shows scheduled in Idaho when we lived in Utah, and he cancelled both of the shows.  So this year, I got Erin tickets to see him in Casper for our 5 year anniversary.  She was so pumped.  So we went to the concert last night (I must really love my wife for this sacrifice) and it was actually pretty good.  He put on a pretty good show, and Jacob Dylan opened for him and it was pretty good too.  After the concert, we beat all the geriatrics out to the parking lot where Willie's bus was parked.  Erin read this book once about him that said he hangs out and meets all the people that are waiting by his bus before he leaves, so she was all excited to meet him, but as soon as we got to the bus (we were the only ones that made it there, all the old people probably broke a hip on the way to the parking lot), Erin was assaulted by a security guard that said "Willie has to go right now, and you better leave here".  He even pushed her.  Lucky I was tired out from running to beat all the 80 year olds to the parking lot or I would have kicked his 6 foot 5 250 pounds of pure muscle ass.  Punk.  

Sick Kids

Well, there's something going around Gillette, all the kids are sick.  Jonny threw up on me the other night, and then on Wed, Shayla threw up all over my bed.....Twice!!!  It was pretty nasty.  And some of their friends are having the same problems.   It sucks, and we also cut up Jonny's pacifier, so now he won't take a nap during the day.  So he falls asleep around 7:30, which is fine by me.  Stinkin kids.

What a Weekend

Well we've had an interesting couple of days.  We went camping on friday night in the freezing cold big horn mountains of Wyoming.  It was a ward campout, and it wouldn't have been bad except for I couldn't feel my feet the whole time.  Then we got home, and I snipped Jonny's pacifier.  I was just sick of it.  We watche Phelps dominate again, and then had church on Sunday.  Sunday night, I just got Jonny's pajamas on, and then he puked.  All over me.  It was nasty.  Here's a great picture of it.  Enjoy.

Cool Dude

Well, Mom and Dad were just here for the weekend, and we had a lot of fun with them, showing them around and taking them to our favorite restaurants and stuff, so it was a good visit, but too short.  I think they had fun too, they even got to hear Sandy talk trash about me, which is always fun.  Shayla and Jonny had a blast with them, and Shayla has been really tearful today since Grandma is gone.  Jonny got some new swimwear, a suit, towel and glasses, here's his glasses.  What a cool kid he is.  

Cool Boy

Here's this little stinker hanging out in a cooler.  Yes, he is 2, and he still fits inside a 12 can cooler.  Little Runt.

Balloon Sleeper

This is pretty cute, we went to a barbecue last night for our new neighborhood and they gave the kids a balloon.  Shayla would not let go of her balloon all night, and when I went to put her in bed, she was sleeping in our bed, still holding on to her beloved balloon.  She's the best.

Little Cleaners

This was pretty funny, I was hanging out on the couch and Jonny and Shayla started cleaning everything spraying Windex on the TV, Windows, Tables and even Jonny's Stomach (apparently it was dirty), before I knew it, they had used a whole bottle of Windex.  At least the house smelled good, even though I doubt that it was any cleaner than before they raided the cleaning product cupboard.

Shayla's Dreadlocks

Well, we cut off most of Shayla's hair.  Her hair is so fine that when she woke up in the morning, it took like half an hour to comb through it because of all the knots.  One day Erin actually had to cut out a full dreadlock, it was amazing.  But she looks really cute with her new hair cut.  She is getting so big, she starts school in 4 weeks, and she can't wait.  She is a little advanced though, she can write all the letters of the alphabet, count, knows all her shapes and colors.  We took her to a prescreening for preschool, and she was way high on all of the skills.  We were pretty proud.  She rides her little bike around all the time, and loves it too.  She's pretty good.  My little girl is growing up!!!

It's Been So LONG!!!!!!!

Dang, sorry I am such a slacker.  I need to get on here more, and update some of the pictures.  We are just busy here in Gillette with work, Erin is working now at KMart a few nights a week, and she likes that, I am busy doing 2 different jobs with the same company (Basically, they just doubled my workload), and the kids are, well, kids that never stop running out of energy.  Shayla is getting ready to start school, It's the 26th of August that is her first day.  She's really excited.  We cut her hair really short when we were in Casper the other day, she looks really cute, I'll make sure and put some pictures of her on here soon.  Anyway, that's about it for now!! The PINK EYE HAS GOT US!!!!

Well, we found out this morning that Shayla has pink eye. We think Jonny has it too, he's got all kinds of eye boogers hanging everywhere. Shayla said she woke up last night, and was scared because her eyes were glued shut. Busted!! Yeah, so we had to take her to a doctor today, we don't have insurance yet, so we paid a thousand or so dollars (exaggeration) to get her looked at, and another $50 for her prescription!! Well, hopefully she'll get better soon. The good news is, no church for fathers day. YEAH!!! Uh-oh, maybe I shouldn't be so happy about that. Anyway, talk to you all later.

Our First Blog

Well yeah, we finally gave in and decided to make a blog.  I've had like 600 people tell me we need to get one so they can see pictures and stuff.  I don't know why you'd want to see my ugly face, but yeah, my wife and kids are cute, so here we go.  I'll try to keep updated on what's happening in our lives here in Gillette, WY.  I'll throw a bunch of pictures on here, and let you all know what is happening.  See ya.
